Author & Christian Career/Calling Coach
About Me
I’m Kaitlyn Ramos—a neurodivergent author, career coach, and educator—passionate about weaving together faith, story, and the beauty of everyday life. My writing explores the intersection of memory and meaning, blending narrative and reflection in ways that invite readers to pause, breathe, and encounter God’s presence in both the ordinary and extraordinary. As a writer, I hold a B.S. in English and am the author of A Dream Fulfilled Life: A Memoir in Essays. My essays have appeared in journals such as Agape Review, Vessels of Light, and The Way Back to Ourselves, as well as in communities like Grit & Grace Life.As a coach, I bring together professional and academic training with lived experience. I hold an M.S. in Psychology, certification in Christian Life Coaching, and over a decade of mentoring experience as an educator. This background has shaped not only my career but also my perspective on resilience, growth, and the ways God forms us through life’s challenges. My coaching focuses on helping neurodivergent Christian women navigate career/calling transitions and decisions. When I’m not writing or coaching, you’ll often find me homeschooling my daughter, traveling with my soldier husband, or savoring quiet moments by the lake with a book in hand.Above all, I believe in the power of words and Christian community to remind us of truth, stir our hearts toward wonder, and point us back to the One who writes every story.
Books
A Dream Fulfilled Life is a reflective memoir-in-essays tracing one woman’s journey of spiritual formation throughout her life. With warmth and honesty, Kaitlyn Ramos contemplates what it means to thrive—not in spite of weakness, but through it. From the classroom to the kitchen table, from chronic illness to creative calling, her life becomes a sacred ground for growth. This is a story for every woman asking where God is in the midst of her own journey.
Blog
Woven Whispers is a long-form devotional essay series rooted in Scripture and lived experience. Rather than offering traditional daily devotionals or teaching-heavy reflections, the series unfolds through literary personal essays—stories drawn from ordinary life that are slowly, intentionally woven together with a single biblical verse. Each essay invites the reader to linger, to notice, and to reflect on how God speaks quietly through work, relationships, suffering, joy, vocation, and the small, often-overlooked moments of becoming. The current series is a journey through the Old Testament, moving book by book and verse by verse—not as a study guide, but as a reflective pilgrimage. These essays attend to the faith of ordinary people, overlooked moments, and quiet encounters with God, tracing how Scripture continues to shape modern life through memory, story, and lived experience. At its heart, Woven Whispers is about attentiveness: to God’s presence, to the slow formation of faith, and to the way Scripture meets us not only in certainty, but in complexity, growth, and trust. This Substack also serves as the home of my monthly newsletter, where I share personal updates, writing news, and reflections from the intersection of faith, creativity, and calling.
